Cannabis trim actually refers to two different types of leaves: sugar leaves and fan leaves. Sugar leaves are the small leaves that grow out of the buds. Fan leaves are the larger leaves that protrude from the branches. Sugar leaves contain some of the crystals and THC, just not as high in concentration, so you can use trim for just about anything you would use flower for.
